AV Project Manager
Responsibilities
Responsible for all aspects of a/v projects including scheduling crews, ordering materials and performing close-out procedures. Works with engineering and sales for job walks and system designs.
Qualifications
Three years of project management and good understanding of medium to large a/v installations. Field contracting and supervision experience necessary. Systems design experience including audio, video, computer graphics, control systems and specification packages. Must be efficient in planning, scheduling, communicating in all stages of project to ensure a smooth installation while controlling expenses and improving profitability. Requires sound judgment and excellent service when dealing with customers. Must promote goodwill and teamwork. Industry certifications and manufacturer training preferred. Construction experience a plus.
AV Integration Technicians
Responsibilities
Installation of A/V systems, including cabling, displays, sound equipment, racks, control systems and interfaces.
Qualifications
Must be a motivated self-starter as well as a team player. Must have an understanding of A/V systems. Requires good communication and customer service skills. Industry certifications and manufacturer training preferred.
Inside Sales Representatives
Responsibilities
Contact prospective businesses by telephone to set appointments for goods or services in the educational and corporate field. Explain products and services offered by Digital Networks Group and answer questions from customers. Obtain customer information such as name, address, e-mail and other relevant information, and enter it into a database. Adjust sales scripts and e-mail documents to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals.
Obtain names and phone numbers of potential customers from directories, reply cards, and lists purchased from other organizations. Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements. Phone or write letters to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up initial sales contacts. Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and opportunities. Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with prospective customers or for customers to attend sales presentations.
Conduct client or market surveys in order to obtain information about potential customers.
Prepare bi-weekly reports of new sales opportunities.
Experience in the AV field and InfoComm CTS certification preferred.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and CRM systems, preferably ACT.
Work schedule 40 hours week, 8AM - 5PM
K-12 Product Champion / Sales Specialist
Digital Networks Group, the leading provider of K-12 learning technology in Southern California, is searching for previous classroom instructors proficient in the use of learning technology in today's classrooms.
Specifically, Digital Networks Group is expanding its K-12 sales and marketing efforts in the areas of interactive white boards, projection systems, speech reinforcement systems, document cameras, etc. The primary job responsibility will include setting up and/or attending sales meetings with School Principals, IT Directors, Curriculum Coordinators, Facility Directors, Superintendents and other key decision makers planning to integrate these teaching tools into their classrooms.
The ideal candidate is a previous K-12 instructor with classroom experience in the use of the technology mentioned above, and will be proficient in PC and Apple environments. Digital Networks Group will provide training for all products relevant to this position.
The counties served include Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Louis Obispo and Kern County.
Candidates should ideally reside in or around Riverside, San Bernardino, or North Los Angeles County.
After completion of training the candidate will be working from his/her home office.
