The Digital Networks Group Training Academy is the heart and soul of DNG’s staff professional development program. A proprietary teaching and learning facility that serves as an industry model. It is here that our project managers, systems engineers, and field technician team members hone their technical skills and develop their overall professional capabilities on an on-going basis.

Passionately dedicated to sharing their knowledge and expertise, the curriculum and training is provided by in-house full-time instructors, our own management team, manufacturers’ reps, and other outside industry experts.

All are focused on the Academy’s vision—to build the most technically proficient staff in the systems integration industry. And all is conducted within a highly supportive and collaborative environment–with instructors and students alike pushing themselves and one another.

The standards are high. The training is rigorous. The rewards are well worth it.

The teaching doesn’t stop with tech.

While technical learning is at the forefront of the curriculum, it doesn’t end there. As Training Academy students are regularly on client-project front lines, they also need to have outstanding 360-degree management and client service capabilities.

So, non-tech skills like customer-interaction, team-building, problem-solving, time management, and leadership are also emphasized. This combination of technical capabilities, professional development and personal growth create well-rounded, performance-minded individuals at all levels.

New technology doesn’t sleep. So learning can’t either.

“Always a student, never a graduate” serves as one of our core principals.

So, while there’s no such thing as graduation, per se, from the DNG Training Academy––a formal system of merit-based commendations and recognition does serve as one of the Academy’s pillars. This approach instills a continuous improvement mindset—providing students with a knowledge base to build from, expand upon, with an eye towards reaching Increasingly higher plateaus.
